GETTING STARTED WITH WORDPRESS

ALMOST THERE!

When you have your success screen, click on "Run the install." That will bring you to this screen:

All there is to do is hit "Let's Go!"

At the next screen hit "Step 2!"

Way down at the bottom of the screen you will be presented with the following prompt:

If your blog is going to be the first thing you want visitors to see when they visit your site, set this to http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com. If this will not be the first thing, you should set this to another directory. To do that type http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/blog. When you have done that, click "Step 3."

Guess what! You are finished! When you see this screen, you know you've made it to the end:

This screen contains one very important piece of information you do not want to lose - your password. Write this down in a place you won't lose. We do not recommend those little scraps of paper on your desk. When you have put it somewhere you won't lose, click on "Log in."

Type in your username (admin) and your password (from the last screen) and then click on "OK."

Lo and behold, you are now in your very own blog. Congratulations! You made it!

All we need to do now is make a post (after all, a blog with no content isn't much use, is it)? Take a breather and then move to the next page.
