GETTING STARTED WITH WORDPRESS

TIME TO WRITE!

This is the easy part. In the Title box type the title for your first post. In the Post box type the content. You can use the str and em buttons to make words Bold (strong) or Italic (emphasis). When you are satisfied, click Publish. After a few seconds you will find yourself back at that same screen but everything will be empty. Did the post work? There is only one way to find out!

Click on the "View Site" button at the top of your screen. In mere seconds you will find yourself in your brand new blog, with your first post right at the top of the screen. You are now a bona fide blogger.

TIP: - In your browser point to http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/index.php (if you elected to have your blog as the first thing people see when they visit your site) or http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/blog/wp-admin/index.php (if you elected to put it in another directory) and add that page to your favorites. That is the page you will return to anytime you want to add more content to your blog.
